Admission procedure school and boarding school
It is important to find out about our school and boarding school and the opportunities we offer in advance, but this is only the first step. It is crucial - and our experience has shown this time and again - that parents and students get an idea of our school with boarding school and all its possibilities on site!
Previous school grades are not the only deciding factor
Also important to know: The grades of the elementary school, secondary school, intermediate school or grammar school previously attended are definitely a focus during the first contact, but they are not necessarily of primary importance at first. Rather, we place central importance on the personal conversation is more important to us. We want to get to know the child or young person and their family personally and gain a comprehensive picture so that we can work together to shape the child's positive development.
A path is not always straight; sometimes it can be bumpy - for whatever reason. Then active action is required to put this path on a new course. Here we see ourselves in an advisory and supportive role in order to find an individual and best possible school solution for each child.

Barbara Borchers - former pupil & board member of the Schloss-Schul-Verein
I had a wonderful childhood and youth here. I am also grateful for the good education I received and for the many wonderful people I got to know through the Schloss-Schule and still have contact with today. This is really something very special for me.
I really want to encourage young people to have confidence in themselves and to dare to do something. Even if you fail sometimes, it's not a bad thing and you can always move on!

Taster days at our boarding school - because it has to fit!
If all parties involved immediately come to the conclusion after the discussions that attending our boarding school Schloss-Schule Kirchberg is the right thing to do, a contract is signed - and the child's new phase of life with us can begin straight away.
Just live for a trial period - at boarding school
If there is still some uncertainty or if the child would like to get to know the everyday life and routine of a boarding school first, boarding school students have the option of a trial stay. This means participating in life at the boarding school for three to five days in order to gain the necessary certainty that the Schloss-Schule can be an important companion for future development. It is not for nothing that our motto is "Well-being is the basis. Individual success is the goal".
Local pupils also have the opportunity to test the Schloss-Schule
Of course, this also applies to children who do not live at the boarding school - our local pupils! They are also welcome to attend our lessons for a few days in small classes with individual support and many work groups as a trial.

Grammar school
We offer pupils from a wide range of educational backgrounds the opportunity to attend the grammar school at Schloss-Schule Kirchberg. In addition to pupils transferring from elementary school, this naturally also includes grammar school pupils from other schools. In addition, it is also possible for Waldorf and Realschule pupils as well as pupils who have attended a school abroad to continue their schooling with us at the Schloss-Schule Kirchberg grammar school under certain conditions.
Primary school, secondary school, secondary technical school or vocational school branches
We also offer pupils the opportunity to attend the public primary, secondary, lower secondary and intermediate schools in the surrounding area with which we cooperate. It is also possible to attend vocational schools.
As admission and the associated details to be clarified are very individual, it makes sense to discuss this during the initial contact.
We offer the right individual school branch
We will discuss the ideal schooling options for your child in an initial consultation. Whether grammar school, primary school or secondary school, the following always applies: fulfilling the formal requirements is one aspect, but it is much more important that the pupils see life at the boarding school as an opportunity to develop personally in a wide variety of areas and want to play their part in this.
