Colorful and varied program on the weekends at the Schloss-Schule
On the boarding school weekends, which take place every two weeks, we offer a varied program for our boarding school students with excursions, various activities and events. The program items on the weekend are developed and offered by the boarding school mentors on duty. There is never the same program, but a wide variety of activities from which our students can choose according to their own interests.
As we also have international children and young people with us, our boarding school is generally open every weekend. These pupils have access to supervision and various leisure activities every weekend.
The group evening on Friday - something special at our boarding school
The group evening takes place on the Friday of the boarding school weekends. This evening is always something special, as the mentors do something interesting with their protégés that has been thought out together with the pupils beforehand. This can be, for example
- a trip to the trampoline hall
- go karting together
- bowling
- grilling stick bread over the campfire
- a torchlight hike
- going to the movies
- go out to eat
- or any other interesting activity.
Opportunities on the grounds of our boarding school and beyond
For leisure activities at the weekends, our school and boarding school grounds have a C-house with
- table football
- pool table
- air hockey
- sauna and gym
and also our
- sports hall and sports fields
- a climbing forest and a climbing wall
- the group rooms and group kitchens
are available. The area surrounding our boarding school in Baden-Württemberg also offers plenty of opportunities to spend your free time - and not just at the weekend.
Schloss-Schule boarding school: also there for international students during the vacations
Our boarding school is also open for our international students during the vacations (fall, carnival, Easter and Whitsun vacations). Our boarding school is only closed during the Christmas and summer vacations. Regular supervision and care continues during the vacations when we are open, and our supervisors offer an extra program during this time. This could be trips to Munich, Heidelberg, Frankfurt or other interesting and entertaining activities.
Getting involved yourself
Our children and young people are welcome to get involved in leisure activities at the weekend or during the vacations, make suggestions and request activities / excursions. There are no limits to their imagination here, only financial ones. Our mentors always have an open ear and are happy for their pupils to get involved.
