Zoe Nogai
An online interview with Zoe Nogai - The former pupil of the Schloss-Schule successfully completed her Abitur in Kirchberg in 2015. At Schloss-Schule, Zoe learned to stand up for herself and that treating each other as equals is really good for your own development as a young person and that this also supports and gives you confidence in your further professional and personal development. Today, she passes this experience on to other young people in order to support and encourage them and give them the courage to pursue their own goals and pursue their opinions and approaches.

Leonie Wanner
Online interview with Leonie Wanner - The former Schloss-Schule pupil successfully completed her Abitur in Kirchberg in 2016. She firmly believes that everything always turns out as it should and that the key to a happy and successful life is based on trusting yourself.
Leonie is very grateful for the support she has received. Her family, friends and also many teachers have helped her to build up her belief in herself and this provides her with a stable foundation today.

Peter Nietzer
In an online interview with Peter Nietzer, he describes his time at the Schloss-Schule as very enriching. Above all, the fact that he was well prepared for life and learned essential values such as reliability and commitment. He also learned what community means and how to stand up for each other, both at boarding school and at school. These are all fundamental principles for him that remain with him to this day.

Felix Strauss
"I am proud to say today that I was a Schloss pupil!" says Felix Strauß. He graduated from the Schloss-Schule in 2023 and immediately afterwards completed his training as a natural stone mechanic extremely successfully in just 18 months with an average grade of 1.1 and the Bavarian State Prize. He is very grateful that craftsmanship and technical skills are also taught at the school and he says himself that he was well prepared for what comes after school.

Dr. Lorenz Granrath
Lorenz lives with his family in Japan and has lived there for over 20 years. He is passionate about building a network and nurturing the potential that lies within it. He is extremely successful at this. He has worked for renowned institutions and organizations such as the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft. He is grateful for the fact that he came to Japan and that the right opportunities have always opened up in his life.

René Hirsch
René has been deeply connected to the school for 40 years now. Above all, the experience of the teachers believing in him and encouraging him back then was a decisive change that steered his school career in a completely different direction. The friendships he made back then still exist today. René is keen to give something back to the school. That is why he has returned to the board of the Schloss-Schul-Verein and has been the new treasurer since May 2025.

Antonia von der Schulenburg
The former Schloss-Schule pupil attended boarding school from Year 10 and successfully completed her Abitur in Kirchberg in 2021. Immediately afterwards, she trained as a horse farmer and is currently studying agriculture in Göttingen. At the Schloss-Schule, she developed a professional orientation for herself and is currently in the process of turning her passion and hobby, working with horses, into a career.

Johanna Thiele
The former Schloss-Schule pupil currently lives in Kirchberg-Lendsiedel. Johanna comes from an inland shipping family. She began training as a helmswoman while still at school. She successfully completed this. Johanna is now studying civil engineering by distance learning, as she already works part-time in her profession, which gives her more flexibility.

Klaus Momper
Klaus Momper left the Schloss-Schule in 1971 and now lives with his wife on the Ostalb. He appeals to people to live by basic values such as mutual respect and esteem for one another and to be more grateful for what they have. These are all values and attitudes that were exemplified and taught to him at the Schloss-Schule. He is committed to cancer and children's cancer charities and is convinced that you get a lot out of giving!

Hannah Vonberg
The former Schloss School student currently lives in Halifax and successfully completed her master's degree in environmental science in fall 2024. She graduated from high school in 2018 and is working on the important topic of microplastics.

Prof. Tilo Staudenrausch
Prof. Tilo Staudenrausch, Professor of Corporate Communications and Digital Media, is celebrating his 40th anniversary of graduation this year and still feels connected to the Schloss-Schule. He takes up the cudgels for all those who have the courage to take creative paths and passionately supports students at the university as well as companies and managers in their respective development processes. His appeal is: "Make it as easy as possible for the children to work as hard as they need to!"

Raphael Kirchgäßner
In the online interview, the former Schloss student explains that he left school after graduating in 2013 and now lives with his family in Oregon, USA. He has a PhD position there and is researching artificial intelligence and breast cancer. He remembers his time at school well and realizes today that his time at school made him more reflective and self-confident. Today, he is grateful that he can actively improve people's lives professionally - this is his personal motive and he is very proud of it!

Laura Giese
The former Schloss pupil made a conscious decision to study to become a teacher based on her own school experiences. She has fond memories of her own teachers. The values they taught, the way they treated each other as equals and the respectful way they interacted with each other also influence her own teaching and her personal teaching style today. She is now a volunteer at the Schloss-Schul Verein because she would like to give something back to the school and is grateful for the time she spent there. It is also important to her to stay in contact with the school and other alumni.

Joachim Scholz
The current mayor of the municipality of Schöntal is certain that the stable foundation that was built for him at the Schloss-Schule has played a decisive role in his professional and personal development. The values and foundations that were created and taught in Kirchberg have enabled him to emerge stronger from crises and defeats to this day and never give up. This year marks the 40th anniversary of his graduation. He still maintains close friendships from his time at the Schloss-Schule, for which he is very grateful.

Bärbel Borchers
The granddaughter of Amalie Pfündel, who was fundamental to the Schloss-Schule, looks back gratefully on her childhood and youth. She has been on the board of the Schloss-Schul Verein since July 2023 and is passionate about bringing former pupils closer together again and carrying on the intentions of her grandmother and her parents.

Heiner Gröger
The former pupil attended the Schloss-Schule in Kirchberg over 50 years ago. He is the third generation to run a waste disposal company in Crailsheim and has been the first chairman of the Schloss-Schul-Verein since July 2023. In his new role, it is important to him that the former pupils re-establish a stronger connection to their school and that contacts are revived and reactivated.

Dr. Raphael Nagel
The former Schloss-Schule pupil left the Schloss-Schule in 1987 with his secondary school leaving certificate. Raphael now lives with his family in Dubai, travels the world, is a turnaround investor and looks back with gratitude on his time at Schloss-Schule.

Haeun Joo
The former Schloss-Schule pupil was born in Korea and came to Germany at the age of 15. She graduated from high school in 2020 and is studying medicine in Hamburg.

Dr. Peter Nikolaus
The former student was in Kirchberg Castle over 60 years ago, is an internist and had a practice in Crailsheim for many decades. Peter lives with his wife in Crailsheim and is still professionally active today.

Kristina Safranj
The former pupil of the Schloss-Schule graduated from Kirchberg around 30 years ago and is a successful artist and singer. Kristina lives with her husband near Heilbronn and travels the world as a singer. She also works as a freelance speaker and accompanies wedding couples as well as funeral ceremonies and creatively organizes other celebrations according to the wishes of her clients.
