Feeling comfortable and safe is the basis
The foundation of our actions is that the children and young people feel comfortable and safe with us. From this basis, they discover new things with the appropriate zest for life and motivation and develop their individual potential in the best possible way within a framework that is both attentive and clearly structured.

What counts for us is holistic promotion of potential
What is important to us is holistic promotion that encompasses all individual development potential through a wide range of offers and intensive support. This includes the acquisition of knowledge as well as personal, mental, social, intellectual, artistic, cultural, manual and physical development!

We encourage children and young people to set personal goals and take responsibility at an early age
We educate, motivate and support children and young people on their developmental path and pay particular attention to ensuring that they acquire and develop the skills to take responsibility for their own lives, for the lives of others and for society and the environment as a whole at an early age. It is also important to us that children and young people learn very early on to define individual goals and success criteria for themselves and for the communities to which they belong - and to do their utmost to achieve these goals and thus be successful according to individual standards.

We do everything we can to ensure that our pupils develop into unique personalities
For us at the Schloss-Schule, the focus is always on the personality of the individual - this may, indeed should, develop and shape itself individually with us! We pay particular attention to ensuring that children and young people feel accepted by us with all their strengths and weaknesses so that they can develop into self-confident, authentic and happy young adults who actively tackle life's challenges.

For us, living, learning and working is the recipe for success for positive development with head, heart and hand!
We are convinced that the reform pedagogical triad of living, learning and working (together) forms the optimal basis for the balanced and positive development of the individual personality of children and young people. Mutual respect as the basis for living together, continuous learning as a lifelong principle of growth and concentrated (and above all, repeated manual) work as a means of harmonizing body and mind are therefore essential for us.

Kristina Safranj - former student, artist and singer
It was really great that the classes were so small. It was a completely different way of learning and this also gave each individual much more development opportunities. What is really characteristic of the Schloss-Schule is the openness to the world that was already practiced back then. This taught me early on to think outside the box. And what was also practiced 30 years ago was the topic of sustainability. For example, we went to the forest together and collected garbage.
At the Schloss-Schule, there is a great deal of commitment to getting every single pupil involved. Nobody is left behind.
