The Abitur at the Schloss-Schule corresponds to the Abitur at public grammar schools.
Transfer from primary school grade 4 to grade 5 at Schloss-Schule
Most children move on to the 5th grammar school class at Schloss-Schule after the 4th primary school class. In order to make the transition to school as easy as possible for the 5th graders, the school has had a mentor system for all new students for several years.
But also in higher grades and as secondary school leavers it is also possible to transfer to the Schloss-Schule.

Deciding on the "right" school after the 4th grade is not easy. The Schloss-Schule therefore organizes information events for parents of 4th graders. The following events were or are coming up soon:

Experience
The best way to get a real impression of Schloss-Schule Kirchberg is for children and parents to experience the school for themselves. That's why the Schloss-Schule will be presenting itself on the following dates:
- Mon 09.02., Tue 10.02., Thu 12.02.2026, each from 1.40 pm to 3.15 pm: taster day dates (with registration by phone/mail)
- We invite primary school children in year 4 to come and get a taste of our lessons in the afternoon and get to know our school up close and in everyday life!
- As the children will probably be brought to us directly after their primary school lessons, we will have a refreshing snack ready so that they can start the afternoon lessons well fortified!

Transfer to the Schloss-Schule with a secondary school leaving certificate
The 10 plus model makes it possible for career changers or secondary school graduates in grade 10 to transfer to Schloss-Schule Kirchberg and complete their schooling here with a high school diploma.
