On December 10, 2025, students from grades 8 and 10 at Schloss-Schule participated in the national “Youth Training for the Olympics and Paralympics” competition in the soccer category. The tournament, featuring a total of eight teams, took place at the Hirtenwiesenhalle in Crailsheim.

The opening match against ASG ended in a scoreless draw, although the Schloss-Schule had significantly more scoring chances. This was followed by a 2-2 tie against Blaufelden. In the final group match, the team suffered a narrow and unfortunate 0-1 loss to LMG.

In the placement matches for 5th through 8th place, the students first secured a confident 2-1 victory over ASG 1. In the subsequent match for 5th place, the GMS Johannes Brenz team suffered an unfortunate 1-2 defeat despite a committed performance.

In the end, the girls finished in sixth place. With a bit more luck, a spot in the top 4 would have been entirely possible.

Conclusion: The team put in a committed performance, thoroughly enjoyed the tournament, and is already looking forward to future competitions.
