On 24.10.2024, a group of our pupils, accompanied by Mr Probst-Kaiser, visited the SOS Children's Village in Berglen near Schorndorf. The group included representatives of the SMV from Year 5 to J2, our student representative and the boarding school spokesperson.
During a guided tour, our pupils learnt about the SOS Children's Village concept and discovered some similarities to our boarding school.
At the end, our pupils handed over a cheque for 2,500.00 euros - a proud sum that they raised at the SOS charity run 2024, supported by a generous rounding up by the school management.
Our pupils encouraged us to continue the cooperation - a great sign of a strong community.
