Great success in the stock market simulation game

The trading floor was buzzing! This year’s Stock Market Simulation at CineCity Crailsheim saw around 5.5 billion euros in turnover across Europe. Here at the Sparkasse, 532 participants took part, managing a total portfolio value of 1.6 million euros.

Although the global situation is currently very challenging and the markets have fluctuated wildly (high volatility), prices ultimately trended mostly upward. Rheinmetall (350 million in turnover!) and Amazon, in particular, were among the clear winning stocks in the portfolios.

Schloss-Schule Kirchberg on Top

Especially in the sustainability category, we at Schloss-Schule impressively demonstrated what we’re capable of. Here are our champions:

1st place: Team “Elon Musk” with Laura S. and Tabea F. The two not only impressed here but even landed in 4th place across all of Baden-Württemberg!

2nd place: Team “Bärenkurs” with Jonathan F. and Lukas A. A very solid result!

Despite strong competition, some of which took off like a “brand” (new global market leader), we held our own very well. It was a turbulent time on the stock market—congratulations to everyone who managed to keep their portfolios in the black!
