Under this motto, the students of the Spanish profile subject from year 9 met in mid-December not in the classroom, but in the kitchen of the “Lern- & Kulturwerkstatt” at the Schloss-Schule. In keeping with the current lesson on Mexico, they naturally had Mexican food. They prepared tacos, probably the Mexicans' favorite street food, and a fresh guacamole in which crispy tortilla chips, called totopos in Spanish, are dipped. The tacos, small corn patties, were filled with tinga de pollo and various sauces, from mild to muy picante (very spicy) to taste. Everyone took part in the preparation and after the meal they all said: “¡Sabrosísimo”, which means super tasty! And because it was so much fun, the final question was: ¿Cuándo cocinamos la próxima vez? (When will we cook next time?).
