In December 2024, Ms. Hertlein's grade 8b Spanish class showed its creative side: with a lot of imagination and a feel for language, they created so-called “oncitos” – a Spanish poetic form that is known in German as “Elfchen”.
Using just 11 words, the students tell little stories, describe feelings or paint linguistic pictures.
A great example of how learning languages promotes creativity and is fun!
