At the end of June, class 8b went to the Weinsberg Forest Climbing Park with Ms. Schenk and Mr. Annicchiarico.
We set off at around 8 a.m. in two Schloss School buses and reached the climbing park after an hour-long drive and a short walk uphill. We were given a warm welcome and issued with orange climbing helmets. This was followed by team training, which involved us working together to overcome a difficult balancing course, for example. After that, we received our climbing harnesses and detailed instructions. We were then allowed to let off steam for three hours in small groups, climbing freely on the 12 courses of varying difficulty. Finally, we returned to the school at around 3:30 p.m.
