On the first evening, headmaster Alexander Franz opened the series with a presentation entitled “AI takes over the school.” He explained why AI is relevant for schools, how AI works, and what the challenges will be in the schools of tomorrow.
The second evening was dedicated to the students: Mattis and Floyd Kühnen, both students at Schloss-Schule, presented “AI Use – My Path to Academic Success,” explaining how they integrate AI applications into their everyday learning. They provided concrete insights into tools, learning strategies, and also limitations in dealing with artificial intelligence.
On the third evening, teacher and multimedia consultant Inga Haybach presented how AI can relieve and support teachers. Under the title “AI – Support for Teachers,” she showed practical application scenarios for lesson preparation, individual support, and creative lesson design.
The series concluded on the fourth evening with a look into the future: Dr. Johannes Bleher (University of Hohenheim) gave a lecture on “From School to the Working World – AI as a Companion” and highlighted the importance of AI, the challenges in dealing with it, and discussed the opportunities and risks involved.
