On July 2, 2026, two alumni who had graduated from high school the previous year visited us. Janis and Henriette shared their experiences and talked about their time as FSJ volunteers last year. They told the current 11th graders about the application phase, the selection and decision-making process, and their areas of work and experiences. Janis completed his year at a psychiatric facility. Henriette worked at a senior care home in Denmark. The past few months have been very educational for both of them. They’ve gained a wealth of experience and made enriching connections, both personally and for their future professional development. The 11th-grade students were very interested, and some learned about opportunities they hadn’t known about before—such as the possibility of spending a year abroad. We’d like to take this opportunity to once again extend our heartfelt thanks to our alumni—it’s wonderful that you shared your experiences with us!
