We set off from the Hochgratbahn car park on Monday, June 16, with a total of eight students and two mentors. Over five days, four nights in huts, and approximately 70 km + 4,000 m of elevation gain, we crossed the Nagelfluh chain via Hochgrat, Gelchenwanger Kopf, Rindalphorn, Gündleskopf, and Buralpkopf down into the Gunzesriedertal valley to the Riedberger Horn. From there, we went via Grasgehren and the Wannenkopf hut to Rohrmoos and via the Besler to Austria in the Kleinwalsertal valley. After five sunny days, plagued by sunburn and sore muscles (at least most of us) and several spontaneous tour adjustments, we arrived in Austria with six young people. Unfortunately, two girls had to leave us for health reasons and drove home on their own. Robin, as co-trainer, didn't let me down despite his injury. At least not after we splinted him several times.

The group worked together really well and supported each other, but I also had to intervene a few times myself, for example, lending shoes or taking on a second backpack due to injury.

All in all, it was a great tour with a fantastic atmosphere, and I hope some new friendships were formed.
