On February 3, 2025, classes 8b and 9a went to the Crailsheim public library with Ms. Schenk and Ms. Vollrath to play the “Fake Hunter” simulation game. First, we were introduced to a few facts about fake news. Then we played a game in which we indicated whether we believed the statement or whether it was fake news by positioning ourselves on one side or the other. After learning about tools for recognizing fake news, we were allowed to debunk fake news with these tools on a special website. At the end, we presented our findings and then took the bus back to school. The excursion was a great change from everyday school life.
